FlowRec ("we", "us") is a website / web-demo recorder for iPhone and iPad, published by the team behind FlowVella. This policy explains what we collect on the FlowRec app and on flowrec.app, and what we do with it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the product.
The app: your recordings stay on your device
FlowRec records websites in its built-in browser, composited with your camera, microphone, and on-screen pointer. Recording, green-screen keying, and export all happen on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to your recordings, your camera feed, or your microphone audio.
- Camera & microphone: used only while you record, to composite your selfie cam and narration into the video. Nothing is sent to us.
- Recordings & exports: saved to your device (e.g. Photos) and shared by you, wherever you choose.
- Browsing in the app: the in-app browser loads the URLs you enter. We do not log your browsing history.
Purchases
Pro subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple shares aggregate, anonymized subscription and transaction information with us so we can operate the service.
The website (flowrec.app)
- Email signups: if you submit your email to be notified at launch, we store that address to email you about FlowRec. We don't sell it or share it for others' marketing. You can ask us to delete it any time.
- Analytics: we may use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand aggregate usage (page views, clicks, scroll depth). This is used in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify you.
- Server logs: our host records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and reliability.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data. We don't access your recordings. We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold (such as a launch-signup email) by contacting us. On the app, you control camera and microphone permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
Children
FlowRec is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above.
